Geotechnical Engineering

Our geotechnical area provides the quality, support and security of the physical stability of the engineering project that we pray to our clients. Our experience in geotechnical engineering covers the design and construction of mining components such as: leaching piles, tailings tanks, clearing tanks and mining plants. Likewise, we also participate in the execution of geomechanical projects that covers the design and supervision of tunnels and open pits.

Geotechnical services
  • Preparation of geotechnical reports for the design of leaching pads, clearing tanks, pit slopes, organic material deposits, water dams, tailings dams, process plant foundations, among others.
  • Review, analysis and interpretation of geotechnical monitoring data.
  • Review of the physical stability of leaching platforms (PADs), clearing tanks, pit slopes, organic material deposits, water dams, tailings dams, process plant foundations, among others.
  • Programming of geotechnical and geomechanical laboratory tests and interpretation of results according to the purpose of the project

  • Supervision and elaboration of lithological, geological and geotechnical records (Logueo).
  • Execution of DPL, SPT, LPT, CPT and rock and soil sampling.
  • Supervision of Lefranc and Lugeon type permeability tests.
  • Geotechnical instrumentation installation supervision, hydraulic piezometers and vibrating rope, inclinometers, vibrating rope pressure cells, settlement sensors, among others.
  • Supervision of seismic piezocone (SCPTU) tests.

  • Automation of geotechnical instrumentation with the integration of measurement equipment such as piezometers, inclinometers, extensometers, robotic stations, radars (SSR-SAR) and INSAR (satellite monitoring), for infrastructure Mining as tailings dam, dumps, leach pads, open pits, among others.
