Lima, Peru, August 4, 2026. Our General Manager, Eng. José Luis Ramírez Castañeda, was a speaker at Martes de la Minería (Mining Tuesdays), a series organized by the Mining Engineering Chapter of the Lima Departmental Council of the Peruvian College of Engineers.
The lecture
Under the title "Cross-validation of geostatistical methods in 3D geotechnical models for open pits", Eng. Ramírez shared his research, one of the winners of the CONAMIN 2026 ITIS awards. The session was moderated by Eng. Juan Hoyos, General Manager of JSZ Consultores Asociados, and streamed live on Zoom and Facebook.
